Dataloader application from Comstar    - DataLoad is a Windows tool for manipulating and loading data into Windows hosted applications, whether native Windows or Java based, and includes features and enhancements specifically designed for Oracle Applications. Data is entered into DataLoad's spreadsheet which the tool sends to the target window(s) using simulated keystrokes or Windows Copy & Paste. Earned Income Credit Processing (Oracle HRMS)

Here are the steps to setup the element for an employee:

Naviage to tax information, federal: The list of values includes: No EIC (which is the default), Single, or Married. The set-up includes selecting Single or Married from the list of values on the ‘EIC Filing Status’ field. Single represents the filing of 100% EIC and Married represents 50% EIC. If married with only one filing certificate, the EIC field should be set to single. If married with both filing a certificate, the EIC field should be set to married.

If you view the Statement of Earnings (SOE), you will see a Negative amount on the SOE.

The EIC is a tax credit, not an earnings. The element EIC Advance is a negative amount that is displayed on the SOE and the check. The element will cease calculating once you've reached IRS limits for the year.
